The Competition

Despite a little bit of rain and some slightly blustery conditions, the competition organised by Ian was a great success.

There were three metric distances 50mtrs, 30mtrs and 20mtrs, and archers could select the distance they wanted to shoot depending on their experience level.

It was a handicap competition, and after the 72 arrows shooting finished, Ian and Charlotte got to work on sorting out the final results.

Mike presented the trophies with many delighted and surprised recipients.

The BBQ

After the competition, we all enjoyed a great BBQ, and special thanks go to Mike as the BBQ chef and Luca as the chief server, who handled all the requests very efficiently.

Thank you must go to all those who brought along some delicious cakes and desserts – they disappeared very fast.

The Fun Shoot

Before we had some fun with balloons and foam animals, Ian and Mike presented the competition awards.

There was lots of hilarity as the balloons blew in the wind, and Emma and Courtenay had a shoot-out – I think Emma had the upper hand on this occasion.
