The May Awards and Competitions
What an incredible month it has been for our club! Our archers have achieved notable milestones, broken several club records, and earned numerous awards.
These accomplishments highlight the dedication and skill of our members across all bow types and rounds.
Notable achievements include Courtenay Welsh’s record-breaking longbow performances, Kevin King’s outstanding scores with the recurve, and Philip Churchill’s impressive versatility across multiple events. The 252 awards also saw fantastic participation, with Sara-Louise Darwin and Thomas Stoel earning numerous awards at different distances.
In our club competitions, Trampas Brown and Adrian Sharp took first place in the St Nicholas and Short Metric Handicap rounds, respectively.
